McDonald's is the world's largest restaurant chain that was founded by Richard and Maurice McDonald on May 15th, 1940 in the United States. It is now the second-largest private employer with 1.7 million employees, that serves over 69 million customers daily in more than 100 countries (in 2018). This fast-food company now sells its best-known burgers with french fries, but also chicken products, soft drinks, milkshakes, wraps, desserts, salads, fish, smoothies, and fruit. Their iconic Golden Arches logo was first introduced in 1953.
